have called her for advice on general communication issues as well
as client and staff management. Her input is always thoughtful and
useful. I never hesitate to recommend her to other business owners."

Philosophy
Effective leadership, employee contentment, and business
results rely on authentic, efficient, consistent, and frequent
communication. We help leaders find and strengthen their voices
within organizations. It is the best way we know to improve quality
of life for individuals and to make a better world.
For 20 years, I have been
coaching, teaching, researching and practicing communication skills
and strategies that enhance the work experience. I started Tagali in
2001 to help make work life better for anyone who was open to the
help.
Teri Ward
I believe work can be our highest
calling, our opportunity to add beauty and joy to the world (not to
mention the bottom line). Often, our most frustrating barriers to a
fulfilling work life are bad communication habits.
My clients and partners during these years at Tagali have provided a
wealth of experience and growth, and my career before Tagali
prepared me for the challenge.
My experience spans the discipline of communication. I have helped
brand some high-profile companies: Boeing, BMW, Kodak, and Alaska
Airlines. I worked with the City of Scottsdale and a group of
visionary technologists to find application for NASA-funded research
and development. I have produced local television news and taught
University and community classes on business communication, public
speaking, persuasive speaking and organizational communication. I
have written and spoke on topics ranging from communication in
healthcare to change management to communication in prison.
I received my Ph.D. in Organizational Communication with an emphasis
in Communication Technology from the University of Kansas in 1997.
